The Arena is now on TV!

fascinating! who did this? is it on like real tv or internet tv? do other servers have this? and y would ppl watch lol i mean isnt it more fun to play then to watch i imaigin the rateings must b lousy lol still thats pretty cool lol it even deserves a smily lol

That is pretty sweet! I didnt think so at first but i can see what the players are doing without being in the game. Great for the being an admin that way my ps2 will last longer lol. not only that i think you can record the game play and make something like an arena or clan video?

how long is this video because i have been watching it for 5 minutes and i dont think it is ever gonna end

It's not a vid' it's live. There is a player named "Arena LIVE" in game, that's who's screen you see.

The only problem is it won't go into spectate, unless I'm missing something

yea how does that work? maybe shonuff needs to put it on spectate he just forgot. ok I got him to put the spectate on and it works now. is there a way to put it on the portal page?

Someone probably has to interactively put it the game in sprectate at the start of each map. I know of no way to automate that.

This doesn't this take up one of the 24 slots in the server?

yep i think it does use a player slot but thats not a big deal, but it would kinda suck if you had to click on spectate on every map.

Yeah, every time I check the feed I get to watch the Team Selection menu flashing on Auto Assign.

What you need to do is hack a PS2 controller and wire it into a Timer that inputs “down” followed by “X” every 60 seconds or so. This should put it into Spectate on the Team Selection menu and then change views once in spectate. That would be cool.

well thats not very nice and do they stay in it the whole time spectating?wouldnt thye get booted for inactivity
