So are we going to have Gamenight tonight or should we postpone again?

i already have it up lol ive been waitin 4 like 10 min now but no1 showed up x.x i even got a 2nd ethernet cord so i can manage it while still on lol

c axe when i was n 501st i tried gettin gamenights goin just like u did lol however it was largely unsuccessful x.x alota ppl said theyd show but neva did so i kinda gave up on it lol then u show up and im like sure ill give it another go lol sorry it didnt work out axe

oh well Maybe when can try again sometime.

maybe you should release it to the public unstead of just on the arena site.

i go to the clans that i kno like apoc here and mnc lol thats where i post lol if i personally kne other clans (and mostly where there hq is at) then id post there to lol i suppose i could try and the bfc next time and c if we get anybody from there lol

well after i made that 1 post bout game night bein dead like the next min more ppl showed up lol (late lol) and it was fun and sum would like to do it again so lets get 3 games ready im thinkin 1 should b speeder bike races and lets c if this sat is good lol so what u guys think

I now have an Endor map modded for a speederbike race.

All the bikes spawn at CP1 and CP2 on the northern end of the map near the imperial bunker.

I replaced the 3 ATST's with speeder bikes as well.

The maximum number of speederbikes at one time appears to be set at 9.

This map is for Imperials only.

All the CP's except for CP6 are Empire.

CP6 at the southern end of the map is neutral.

The racers start at the bunker.

The first racer to "touch" CP6 is the winner.

CP6 has been modded to capture instantly.

I reduced the capture zone of CP6 so that you have to either step on it or jump directly over it in order to capture it.

Winner take all, whoever scores the points for the capture wins.

Team damage is optional. Negative points from TK's are deducted from the score, so watch out. Snipers in the Ewok village are optional.

My speederbikes have been modded to allow for very high jumps (as done by Princess Leia in Return of the Jedi) and have been toughened up so they don't explode when they come back down. You can sill blow yourself up by running into a tree too hard.

I've put the modded map on line from my R&D server for anyone who is curious.

The name of the demo server is "ENDOR RACE" and the password is "GO".

Check it out and give me some feedback.

Sorry for the double post. I just found out I had the wrong Endor map running. The correct map is up and running now.

I tested out the Endor race earlier. That thing rocks! The jump seems like it can go REALLY high though. I got mine to hop over most of the trees. But anyway, super fun. Nice job Pyro. Can't wait for game night.

I based the duration of the jump is on the stamina bar of the speederbike. The stamina is used by both the boost and the jump, so if you use both concurrently it will drain twice as fast. Yes it can make a really high jump (Princess Leia jumped clear out of camera frame) and it is actually possible to jump out of the map (not much out there to see). You have to control your jumps. I'll leave the demo running through the weekend for anyone who wants to practice.
