Gamespy ID

dude this constant gamespy id connection lose is getting annoying me and hugh and some others just kept having to rejoin over and over it gets old real quick whats the malfunction? and it seemed like the east part of the u.s. where the players it was happening to lol i went to gamespy.com and other players from other games have the same problem.

I don't know why it's doing this or when it'll be fixed but it seems like it's happening to everyone on every server.

Until GameSpy finishes their tweaking, the only way to prevent this is to not even log into your GameSpy ID account. Just play with your short profile name.

It did that B.S. to me like 10 times when I was trying to broadcast.

yeah i agree at least with glitchers we have sum control but this is outta our hands x.x ya kno im kinda curious while were on the subject whats the point of gamespy? from the very start i always thought they useless we can still login and play with out it the only difference that ive noticed is u cant get buddies and ur name cant b as long but thats it so what does gamespy really do?

what really sucks is you log in play 15min get 25 30 kills then gamespy boots you and gt tracks your time and like no kills hardly, so im not going to even try to play with my normal tag till its fixed. my new temporary tag is APOC*GRIZZ

Yea there is no point in playing with our real tags. As soon as you get on a roll, you will get booted and the stats are all screwed up.

uh question what if we used our real names without gamespy? i use {Z3R0} and it bein counted by gt so if i create an acount as {Apocalypse}VASH on swbf2 game and login with out gs would gt count it as the same name or a diff 1? has anybody tried this yet?

yes it should count it vash.....u dont need gamespy for gametracker

yeah your right but for those of us that have longer names you cant. the profile name only fits 10 letters and gamespy id fits 20. so vash you might get away with APOC*VASH thats only 9 lol.

Honestly, you deserved to lose those kills and awards.
On Kashyyyk, every single one of the kills you got on me was from a mine on a tank or speeder. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

I don't think you can call someone's gameplay "p*ssy" anymore, man.
Land Mines on vehicles is without a doubt the cheapest way to get a kill.
Spawn Camping with recons or a jedi is a close 2nd.

Lol. I just do that when EVERY1 is doing that, i honestly get very mad, and if ur asking urself "how can he be mad if he play as an engy?" no, i always use grunt on kashyyk, i hate the map. I know and i acept i killed u very cheap and im sorry... im going to be VERY honest...the times i do this is very unusual...very very, and tell me if u have seen me play cheap on another ocassion.... i DARE U!!

hahaha Yeah, Kashyyyk does suck. I'm not a fan of that map either.
But it just made a crappy map even worse when I'm going 1-on-1 against another Heavy in the water and all of a sudden a speeder bike with a mine on the front rams into me from behind.
You better buy me dinner and take me to a movie if you're gonna do that!

But on a side note, I think Gamespy might be all good now. I played for a little while last night using {Apocalypse}Sho'Nuff and it never booted me off gamespy.

Yeah, I do it a little sometimes too.
But just like using specials and spawn-camping, I start to feel like I'm getting cheap kills so I try not to do it too much. I mostly use a mine on a tank like a Mad Max security device. My vehicle! Anyone takes it, they're dead!

Aytimee hahaha i hate that too...but if u are being afected by noobs who do that, then join them...its only for a map tho
